He saw Big H running across the pool deck and called out the 5000th warning of the week, "Hollis! STOP! WALK!" Hollis did stop. Very quickly. And then his chin met the pool deck with a nice skidding motion. To his credit, I think Big H was less concerned about the gaping hole in his chin than I was. He just wanted to get back in the water after the tears stopped. I was worried about the flaps of skin, large amount of blood and, of course, what would obviously be a scar marring my small boy's perfect little chin.
