I have been so incredibly jealous of all my photographer friends across the country and their fabulous snow shots this year. But I live in Chesapeake, Virginia where snow is pretty rare. The sprinkling of snow we get once or twice a year that melts by 10am, yet is still inexplicably responsible for two days of canceled school, does not count!
Alas, I'm trying to accept that I will be perpetually snow challenged and set out to capture some photos of my 5 year old with our Winter Chesapeake backyard as the backdrop. Hollis has become quite the little model for me lately and he was a great sport. Although he told me he'd like some snow photos too!
In the meantime, these will have to do. I think we'll survive!
