We had to pick up poor Big H from school today because he was sick. He spent most of the day sleeping on the couch, watching TV with his beloved stuffed Cheetah. You can see that Cheetah's ears are missing because our very rambunctious 6 month old Beagle, Buddy, got a hold of him.
Since Hollis was pretty inert, I decided to take advantage of it and grab a shot.
The Details:
Taken with a Nikon D300
and Nikor 105mm f/2.0D DC lens
with
natural light in manual exposure; ISO of 800; shutter speed 1/60 sec;
aperture f/2.8; focal length 105mm.
Incidentally, my Nikor 105mm lens is my latest acquisition and I'm loving it. It's one of the rare Defocus Control lenses that Nikon makes, allowing me to manipulate the spherical aberration of the lens to throw the area behind or in front of the focus point, out of focus. It's bokeh, only better.
